1973 DeTomaso Pantera

This 1973 De Tomaso Pantera is a one-of-one Pantera Performance Center (PPC) creation, professionally widened and re-engineered in Castle Rock, Colorado using hand-fabricated steel bodywork (not fiberglass) with dramatically flared arches, custom front splitter, rear wing, side vents, and GT5-style graphics. Repainted in brilliant Yellow with a professional finish, it is powered by a PPC-built replacement 351ci Cleveland V8 featuring a Boss 351 intake, Crane cam, Holley Pro-Jection TBI, De Tomaso finned valve covers, and a Euro-spec GTS exhaust, all mated to the legendary ZF 5-speed transaxle. Suspension is upgraded with adjustable dampers and Hyperco coilovers, braking via Wilwood calipers, and it rolls on staggered 17' Etoile wheels with Michelin rubber. Inside, Recaro cloth buckets with Simpson belts, black leather dash/door trim, power windows, cold A/C, and a full suite of dealer-installed Veglia Borletti gauges (200-mph speedo, 8k tach) plus AEM ancillary gauges complete the cockpit. This exact car was featured on the cover of the Fall 1995 Pantera International magazine (included with sale) with an article with photos showcasing this build, this iconic machine shows ~42k miles and remains one of the most recognizable custom Panteras ever built.
